The Rural Locum Assistance Program is seeking experienced professionals for short-term placements in aged care services across rural and remote Australia.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality, person-centred care in residential aged care facilities. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership and stability in facilities where your expertise is most needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the operational and clinical management of residential aged care facilities in accordance with organisational policy and government regulations.
- Leading teams to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards, accreditation requirements, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports aligned with current legislation and internal procedures.
- Supporting and mentoring staff to promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence in care.
- Managing facility resources effectively.
