About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecommunications Architect to join our team at Capgemini. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale, complex telecom solutions that drive business transformation and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design robust, scalable, and secure network architectures that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, network slicing, and edge computing.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-based telecom solutions, migrations, and hybrid cloud environments that optimize network performance and ensure scalability.
  • Plan and deploy telecom data centers, network optimization, and capacity planning to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with our cybersecurity team to ensure the security and integrity of our telecom networks.
About You

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in telecom architecture, design, and implementation. You should have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key qualifications include:

  • ~15 years' experience in the telecom industry.
  • Current or previous work experience in telecom operators in Australia, Europe, or the USA.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, complex telecom solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, 5G, network slicing, and edge computing.
  • Experience with network architecture and design, including traditional and software-defined networking (SDN) technologies.
  • Proficiency in cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of telecom hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, load-balancers, data center fabric, security gateways, and SD-WAN.
