Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to assume the role of Desktop Support Specialist. The successful candidate will provide expert-level technical assistance across end-user computing environments, ensuring seamless service delivery and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site Level 2 & 3 desktop support to users, encompassing hardware and software troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
- Perform network patching and cable tracing as required, collaborating with network engineers to resolve connectivity issues.
- Assist in deploying applications via SCCM and Intune platforms, ensuring secure and efficient access for end-users.
- Support and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 systems, resolving technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Install and troubleshoot printers and peripheral devices, guaranteeing optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
- Manage and resolve incidents and service requests using Ivanti ITSM tool, maintaining accurate records and delivering timely updates to stakeholders.
- Proven experience in Desktop Support or Field Support roles (Level 2/3), with a strong track record of technical expertise and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 10/11, SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and network fundamentals (cabling, patching, basic tracing).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (Ivanti preferred), with hands-on experience and ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
