About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to lead our Australasia region. As a key member of our global sales and services team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, fostering client relationships, and ensuring service excellence in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and inspire a diverse team of sales professionals, service technicians, and administrative staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, emphasizing accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Sales and Business Development
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate new markets and maximize revenue from existing accounts.
    • Develop and constantly update the regional business development plan to grow the market size and share in the region.
  • Financial Management
    • Assume accountability for the profit and loss (P&L) of the regional business unit, driving revenue growth while optimizing operational costs and resource utilization.
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational benchmarks to assess business performance and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Customer Success and Services
    • Oversee the implementation of Wenco Solutions and ensure these are project managed and profitable.
    • Ensure seamless implementation, training, and ongoing support for clients, enhancing product value proposition and customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence and Risk Management
    • Implement robust financial controls, budgetary discipline, and risk management practices to safeguard business viability and ensure sustainable profitability.
    • Monthly Business Reports delivered on topics such as; your team's overall safety, sales pipelines and success, customer satisfaction, client services accomplishments and needs, and other as requested by Global Sales and Services Director, VP Commercial, and President.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of sales management, consulting, client services, management, or technical sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • University degree from an accredited institution or equivalent practical experience. Engineering, Finance, or Business preferred.
  • Strong background in mining.
  • Proven technology sales track record to mining industry for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Demonstrated understanding of FMS technology and associated business benefits.
  • Demonstrated team building and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel (Moderate travel required 25-35%).
