Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis, working a condensed 4-day week roster.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality workmanship on Mack, UD and Volvo products, meeting the expected standards of these prestigious brands.

You will have access to diagnostic information, product specialists, specialist tooling, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure your skills continually develop as the product evolves.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to take their career to the next level and become a key contributor to our team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
  • Providing exceptional customer service and communication

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a heavy road transport service and repair environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
  • Proven track record of quality workmanship
  • Experience with Mack, UD and/or Volvo products is highly desirable
