About Our Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. As a Full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our fleet of buses and coaches.

This is a Permanent position, working Monday to Friday with overtime hours available. You will be part of a Rotating roster, ensuring that our vehicles are always on the move and our passengers receive the best possible service.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing and routine maintenance/safety checks on a fleet of buses and coaches.
  • Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of vehicles as required.
  • Attending vehicle breakdowns.
  • Working in line with safety guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia.
  • Relevant Trade Qualification.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, self-motivation, strong initiative and an ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), attention to detail, reliability and punctuality.
  • Prior experience in heavy vehicle mechanics (diesel).
  • Currently hold an MR or higher-class License (Unrestricted C Class willing to upgrade also considered).
  • Forklift license and auto electrical experience desirable.
