We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead the delivery of projects in Victoria.

The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial automation and controls background, as well as experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams through development, installation, and commissioning phases.

  • Participate in bid teams during the tendering phase on local projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop design specifications, select equipment, and take designs from conceptual stages to implementation and installation.
  • Coordinate project delivery teams to resolve design issues, schedule constraints, and commercial challenges.
  • Develop implementation plans for complex critical equipment installations and cutovers.
  • Lead site installations of electrical, controls, and automation equipment, solving design challenges as they arise.
Requirements
  • Hold an Engineering qualification in Mechatronics, Computer Systems, Software, or similar.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience delivering engineering projects, preferably infrastructure or manufacturing related.
  • Proficiency in PLC and SCADA platforms and related industrial automation concepts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer applications including MS Office.
  • Software development experience is highly regarded.
  • Strong numeric, technical, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
