About the Role

This role is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, providing solutions that meet their transport and logistics needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the transport industry, a proven track record in managing large accounts, driving growth, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring Centurion Transport consistently exceeds their expectations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for high-value accounts, providing solutions for their transport and logistics challenges.
  • Develop tailored solutions for clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Monitor the performance of key accounts, conducting regular reviews and ensuring KPIs are met.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with key clients, ensuring profitable agreements.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on account performance, growth, and potential issues to senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-10 years of experience in account management, specifically within the transport or logistics industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, and/or Logistics, or extensive industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of transport operations, logistics solutions, and supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach to account management.
