Estimated Salary: AU$110,000 - AU$140,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Description
This strategic role is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, ensuring their transport and logistics needs are met with the highest level of service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the transport industry, with a proven track record in managing large accounts, driving growth, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Solution Development: Act as the main point of contact for high-value accounts, providing tailored solutions for their transport and logistics challenges.
- Cross-Selling Opportunities: Develop and implement strategies to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services to existing clients.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of key accounts, conducting regular reviews and ensuring KPIs are met.
- Negotiations: Negotiate contracts and pricing with key clients, ensuring profitable agreements.
- Reporting and Updates: Provide regular updates and reports on account performance, growth, and potential issues to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in account management, specifically within the transport or logistics industry.
- Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, or Logistics or extensive industry experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of transport operations, logistics solutions, and supply chain management.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Customer-Focused Approach: A proactive, customer-focused approach to account management.
