Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated support professional to provide high-quality care to individuals, helping them achieve their personal goals and develop their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to meet the unique needs and goals of each participant.
- Assist individuals in building their capacity and autonomy.
- Facilitate community engagement and help participants access and navigate services.
- Foster a supportive and empathetic environment, respecting each participant's dignity and aspirations.
- Collaborate with other professionals, families, and carers to ensure comprehensive and effective support.
- Document and monitor participant progress, ensuring that all support provided is aligned with their individual plans.
- Promote and uphold the values of excellence in care, contributing to a culture of respect, empathy, and professionalism.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate III or IV in Community Services or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in disability support or a related role is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting and empowering individuals.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to delivering high standards of care with empathy and respect.
