**Support Worker Opportunity**

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide day-to-day support, personal care, and domestic assistance to individuals with disabilities and mental illness.

As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and care to individuals with disabilities and mental illness.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and domestic activities.
  • Support individuals with community living, social, and recreational activities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Certificate 3 in Disability, Aged Care, Community Services, or Mental Health with at least 12 months of experience.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a registered, insured vehicle.
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check and Working with Vulnerable People checks prior to commencement.
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate.
  • NDIS Workers check.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience supporting individuals with autism and those exhibiting challenging behaviours.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including evenings and weekends.
