Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead and manage civil construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, budgets, and timelines are met.

This role involves overseeing project schedules and budgets, including cost tracking and reporting. You will provide technical expertise, advice, and guidance on project execution, methodologies, and design interpretation.

In addition to managing projects, you will also mentor and supervise engineering and site personnel, fostering technical competence and professional growth.

Your duties will include coordinating with internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor project schedules and budgets, including cost tracking and reporting
  • Provide technical expertise, advice, and guidance on project execution, methodologies, and design interpretation
  • Mentor and supervise engineering and site personnel, fostering technical competence and professional growth
  • Coordinate and liaise effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer within civil construction, preferably in infrastructure, energy, or mining sectors
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Construction Industry White Card
