We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Attendant to join our team at Renmark Nursing Home. As a Direct Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality direct client service to residents, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide diversional therapy and engage residents in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents
- Provide support and assistance with meal times, including feeding and hydration
- Contribute to a safe and respectful environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols
- AQF Certificate III relevant to the position
- Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of duties
- Previous experience in providing direct care services in a health-related field, dealing with aged, frail, or disabled persons
