We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, exercise physiology, osteopathy or physiotherapy and be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or accredited with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
- Job Description:
The successful applicant will work independently to manage caseloads and support injured workers, employers and medical professionals to develop injury prevention and workplace education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case management: Manage caseloads of injured workers and provide support to employers and medical professionals.
- Program Development: Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Assessments: Conduct various assessments using clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills.
- Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy or Physiotherapy.
- Registration with AHPRA or accreditation with ESSA.
- Clinical knowledge of pathologies.
- Strong communication skills to build relationships.
- Excellent time management skills.
- A desire to problem solve and innovate.
- A passion for injury prevention and return to work.
