As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored interventions and support lasting change. You will provide person-centered specialist nursing care at an advanced practice level for the designated speciality in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective interventions and achieve lasting change.
- Provide specialist nursing care at an advanced practice level, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
Requirements:
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and relevant post-registration qualifications in Alcohol and Other Drugs with a minimum of three years' experience working in the clinical speciality.
- Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing speciality nursing care in the context of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy in clinical decision making capabilities and leadership in the development of nursing specialty practice advancement.
