Facilities Management Professional

We are seeking a skilled facilities management professional to join our high-performing team, responsible for delivering comprehensive facilities management across a CBD office portfolio.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and maintenance advice to support property managers and clients.
  • Manage building operations, including compliance matters.
  • Develop and implement recommendations to improve maintenance and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure quality control of all contractors.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, common areas, and plant rooms.
  • Develop and maintain risk management procedures in accordance with regulations and client requirements.
  • Procure services to meet technical, risk, and statutory requirements within budget.
  • Manage essential services, including air conditioning, lifts, and fire safety.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs.
  • BUILD and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and tenant representatives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of compliance, risk, and sustainability targets and KPIs.
  • Optimize building operations to maintain NABERS rating and improve where possible.
  • Detailed monitoring and management of energy and water consumption.
  • Independently project manage smaller-scale capital expenditure improvements.
  • Prepare detailed monthly activity reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in facilities management within the property industry.
  • Technical qualifications (trade or engineering) desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in tendering and negotiation practices.
  • Experience in managing green buildings.
  • A high level of financial aptitude, computer literacy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of facilities management operations, industry best practice, building codes, and legislative requirements relating to facilities management.
