Job Opportunity: Radiation Oncology Nurse
">GenesisCare is seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join their team. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional treatment experiences for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert patient care and education ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.
- Undertake direct patient care including wound management and drug administration as per protocol.
- Effectively manage patient load and facilitate effective communication with healthcare professionals.
- Ensure all patient-related events are documented, communicated, and actioned.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Minimum two years post-graduate experience in Radiation Oncology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with empathy for patients and carers.
- Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate patient care.
