Senior Dam Engineers - Project Management

We are seeking experienced professionals to contribute to water infrastructure projects in Australia and New Zealand.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing dam safety management systems, emergency plans, and reviews.
  • Liaising with clients and teams to ensure quality delivery and adapt to changing standards.
  • Maintaining a high level of expertise in hydraulic, hydrologic, structural, geotechnical, and GIS software for dam safety analysis and assessment.
About the Role

This is an opportunity to work closely with clients and develop strategic water resource management outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in delivering dam safety and/or water resources projects, preferably in a consulting environment, as well as experience motivating others to achieve their potential.

Possession of relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a closely related discipline, combined with significant experience in bulk water supply infrastructure and surveillance of concrete and embankment dams, is highly regarded.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a closely related field.
  • Substantial experience in managing small to medium-sized engineering design projects within a company's HSEQ systems.
  • A strong ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • A proven track record in applying problem-solving skills and proficiency in industry-standard software.

Preferred candidates will possess at least five years' experience in one or more of the following areas: hydrology / hydraulics modeling, structural / hydraulic design, or dam safety / risk management.
