Unity Power Engineers is a dedicated Electrical Engineering design and consulting firm based in Hamilton NSW providing a range of engineering technical services to the heavy industrial, utilities, mining, and renewables sectors across Australia.

Unity is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team and be a part of a small business offering high-quality Electrical Engineering solutions.

The Role

·Full time Monday – Friday (40hrs/week)

Key Responsibilities

·Oversee project execution from concept through to commissioning

·Design and review electrical infrastructure for transmission, distribution, and generation projects.

·Develop technical specifications, reports, and drawings using industry-standard tools

·Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

·Lead power system studies including load flow, fault analysis, protection coordination, and stability assessments.

·Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and project success.

·Experience in budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation

Qualifications & Experience

·Degree in Electrical Engineering

·10+ years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field

·Strong knowledge of standards (IEEE, IEC, AS/NZS), NER, and utility requirements.

·Strong knowledge in tools like AutoCAD and PTW

·Excellent communication and leadership skills.
