Job Summary:
Traffic and Transport Solutions SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Transport Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing traffic data, preparing transport impact assessments, and assessing road safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze traffic and parking data using Excel and SIDRA Intersection modeling techniques.
- Develop detailed traffic and transport plans for various projects.
- Conduct site inspections to gather information on road environment, traffic flow, and road safety.
- Evaluate and provide design advice for intersection layouts and parking facilities.
- Analyze crash data to identify areas of improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in traffic and transport engineering.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex analysis results.
- Experience in consulting or government roles is advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of best practice standards and legislation.
