Traffic/Transportation Solutions Specialist

The primary role of this position is to contribute to the development of transportation solutions that cater to the community's needs. This involves working closely with the Transport Planning and Advisory team to deliver effective traffic and transport initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing traffic and parking data using SIDRA Intersection modeling and Excel software.
- Preparing comprehensive traffic and transport impact assessments for various projects.
- Conducting site inspections, gathering information on road environment, traffic flow, and road safety standards.
- Assessing and providing expert advice on intersection layouts and site access points.
- Obtaining and analyzing crash data to inform project decisions.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 years' experience in transportation engineering, with proficiency in analytical software packages like SIDRA.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas effectively to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with consulting environments or government roles.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, current trends, and relevant legislation.
