Healing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Healing Coordinator. The successful applicant will play a key role in the delivery of our alcohol and other drug healing practices, working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating activities at one of our place-based hubs, ensuring that clients receive high-quality support and care. This will involve:

  • Coordinating daily activities and team meetings
  • Providing guidance on healing practice through line management and supervision
  • Supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling, Community Services, Mental Health or Psychology, or equivalent lived experience
  • Ability to coordinate, lead and be part of a team to deliver a high-quality healing service
  • Knowledge and respect for Aboriginal culture, protocols and boundaries
  • Knowledge of challenges and services from an AOD context
  • Developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office Outlook and Teams
