The Reece Group is a leading international company with exceptional values and customer focus. As a reputable supplier of plumbing and bathroom products, they cater to plumbers and retail customers. However, few people realize that Reece also operates several specialty businesses, including Irrigation, HVAC-R, Bathroom Life, Onsite, and Civil.

In 2013, the Reece Group acquired refrigeration and air conditioning businesses Actrol and Metalflex. Across all levels of their network, staff aim to provide friendly and expert customer service to ensure they are the best in the business.

Reece is seeking Year 10 and 11 students to participate in a School-based Traineeship. Partnered with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd, this program will involve working in a Reece branch while completing certificate requirements, such as workbooks, on-the-job training, and assessments.

This traineeship opportunity is based at Plumbing Footscray.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embracing the Reece values, policies, and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Completing all requirements of the Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations
  • Processing sales
  • Managing stock
  • Answering phone calls to take messages and orders
  • Communicating with customers and staff
  • Building product knowledge
  • Following up with customers
  • Maintaining a high standard of the branch

About You:

Applicants should possess good written and verbal communication skills, be able to follow instructions, have enthusiasm and a positive attitude, be willing to try new things, and demonstrate teamwork skills.

Students will work the equivalent of one and a half days per week and must have Saturday availability. Additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to enhance progress.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
