Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services in a collaborative environment.


The successful candidate will work closely with other staff members within Community Mental Health Services, Inpatient Mental Health Services, Alcohol and Drug Services, and community service providers to deliver improved outcomes and experiences for individuals presenting with mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated expertise in mental health nursing, including triage, crisis intervention, intake, assessment, and care planning.
  • Strong written and oral communication, liaison, interpersonal, and counselling skills within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, documentation, and policies.

Requirements
  • Registered nurse with specialist tertiary graduate or postgraduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualifications.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Ongoing registration/licences that are essential requirements must remain current and valid at all times.
