Data Center Operations Lead

The ideal candidate will lead and maintain critical data center infrastructure through rigorous Change Management processes to ensure high-quality operations without customer impact.
They should possess a continuous improvement philosophy and growth mindset, with experience in data center operations, facilities management, and team leadership.
This role requires strong communication skills, proven expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues, and the ability to optimize operational costs while maintaining exceptional reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain critical data center infrastructure through rigorous Change Management processes to ensure high-quality operations without customer impact.
- Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians in all facets of their career.
- Drive continuous improvement projects from conception to completion, collaborating with various support teams across the organization.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure SLA compliance while managing operations budget effectively.
- Routinely operate as the after-hours on-call Data Center Facility Manager for the data centers in the region. This will include responding to any issues within the data centers and managing the investigation, mitigation, and recovery of the issue(s).
- Promote a culture of operational excellence through preventive maintenance, risk management, and process improvement initiatives.
