Procurement Excellence Role

This is a pivotal opportunity to drive best-practice procurement strategies for high-value, high-risk categories across the organization.

  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes: sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, supplier management.
  • Develop RFX documentation and risk strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement governance, act as Probity Officer.
  • Liaise with legal services for procurement matters.
  • Advise stakeholders on sourcing and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Plan and deliver procurement initiatives on time.
  • Ensure purchases meet policy, cost, safety, and legislative standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and strategic transformation of procurement.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key skills include extensive procurement experience in complex organisations, expertise in high-risk, high-value tenders and contract management, strong supplier engagement and negotiation skills, proficiency in data analysis and excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.
