A challenging opportunity exists for a highly skilled Metalliferous Ventilation Engineer to join our site's Technical Services Team.

The role involves managing complex ventilation systems, conducting statutory inspections, and executing detailed ventilation surveys. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining ventilation and emergency egress plans, as well as planning and documenting primary and secondary ventilation surveys.

About the Opportunity
  • Manage ventilation systems to ensure compliance with site standards and legislative requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of ventilation systems to identify any potential issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve ventilation efficiency and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of ventilation system performance and make recommendations for improvement.
About You
  • You hold a degree in Mining Engineering or a related field and have at least 2 years' experience in an underground metalliferous mining environment.
  • You are proficient in ventilation modelling and survey techniques, with experience using Ventsim and Deswik CAD or equivalent mine planning tools.
  • You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and contractor interfaces.
