Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled professionals to fill Project Support Officer roles within our Joint Command, Control, Communications and Computers (Joint C4) Branch. The successful candidates will work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team environment, possessing excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • High-Level Documentation: Prepare and refine critical documents such as agenda items, issues papers, and minutes for capability committees.
  • Innovative Problem Solving: Design and implement solutions that enhance our collaborative efforts and contribute significantly to our goals.
  • Effective Communication: Coordinate complex tasks and provide comprehensive support in drafting submissions, briefs, and other correspondence.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement and the ability to engage with complex or sensitive issues. You will also require limited direction to perform and achieve complex activities within an integrated workforce while maintaining a well-developed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to undertake specialist research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessments, and perform procedural, administrative, and secretarial support to achieve results.
