About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Project Manager to lead our team of Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in overseeing the design, testing, and implementation of finance projects that impact the Financial Reporting and Control team.

This is a crucial role in supporting the Senior Manager of Finance Systems & Projects to successfully deliver projects and drive system and process improvements, aligning with the Group's broader business and system strategy.

The successful candidate will drive effective change, assess risks, and provide recommendations to Senior Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Finance SMEs to design, test, and implement finance projects
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across various projects to support the Group's strategic goal of becoming a cloud-based digital bank
  • Coordinate resources across multiple projects and establish a standardized framework for project delivery within Financial Reporting & Control
  • Assist in completing the Financial Reporting & Control team's annual continuous improvement plan to automate financial systems, processes, procedures, and enhance the end-user experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you should be CA/CPA qualified with over 10 years of experience in finance project management, focusing on systems implementation and optimization and financial services experience.

Strong knowledge of financial processes, controls, regulatory requirements, and risk management is essential.

Proven experience in managing project deliverables and leading complex finance projects, including system implementations and process improvements, is required.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are necessary, along with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results in a dynamic environment.

Intellectual curiosity and quick comprehension of complex concepts are important.

Experience in a matrix environment and leveraging relationships to achieve successful outcomes is also crucial.
