Recreation Planner Undergraduate Opportunity

This is an excellent chance for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree, particularly those entering their third year in 2026 with a specialization in Sport and Recreation, Town Planning, Social Sciences or Community Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for recreation and community facility infrastructure such as cemeteries, parks, playgrounds, sporting facilities, aquatic facilities and more
  • Develop skills in research, community engagement and recreation planning practices
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in and currently studying a Bachelor degree qualification in Sports Recreation, Town Planning, Social Sciences, Community Development or other relevant equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Successful completion of a minimum of two (2) years full-time study, or equivalent, in the above-mentioned degree and satisfactory academic achievement in current undergraduate studies
  • Ability to demonstrate well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to multi-task and prioritize work within an environment of competing demands
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Hold a current Class C unrestricted drivers licence
