We're a specialist recruitment agency for the insurance industry, actively sourcing for a broad range of established clients. We're seeking an Operational Risk Advisor to join our Motor Claims Recoveries and Settlements team.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Provide expert advice and support to the Recoveries and Settlements leadership team on risk management strategy
  • Lead and facilitate risk and control identification workshops
  • Develop and maintain risk registers, heat maps, and other risk management tools
  • Conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses, and incident response activities
  • Monitor and report on risks, incidents, and audit actions
  • Collaborate on regulatory responses and changes, ensuring compliance
  • Support the business continuity framework, conducting business impact assessments and recovery planning
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in risk and compliance, providing education and insights across the team

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar operational risk or compliance role, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements, including GICOP, Privacy, and Claims Handling standards
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and solve complex problems
  • Experience in Incident Management, Risk Profile, and Third-Party Risk Management
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
