Transport Engineering Pillar Manager

This role leads the Traffic Engineering pillar of Arup's NSW/ACT Transport Planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for winning work in the NSW market, integrating with Arup's Infrastructure business on major projects, leading Transport Planning projects, and managing a small team of Traffic Engineers.
The Opportunity- Overall performance management of the Traffic Engineering Pillar as part of the management team.
- Meticulous monitoring of project progress and interdependencies, providing expert technical guidance and fostering knowledge sharing among teams.
- Overseeing and driving all business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities and executing comprehensive strategies with senior management.
- Gathering stakeholder feedback and expectations, ensuring seamless collaboration with public relations and communication teams to uphold the organization's image.
- Spearheading stakeholder meetings, workshops, and consultations, measuring and reporting on stakeholder engagement effectiveness and satisfaction.

Is This Role Right for You?- A recognised tertiary qualification in Civil engineering, Transport Planning, or a similar area.
- Relevant transport planning, traffic engineering & infrastructure integration experience within a consulting business environment.
- Proficiency in software including AutoCAD, SIDRA, Aimsun, and VISSIM.
- Relevant experience in multi-modal infrastructure planning, transport impact assessments, active travel, and development planning particularly in NSW/ACT.
- The ability to grasp business dynamics, making informed decisions to drive growth and success by integrating market insights.
We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits that support health and wellbeing, learning opportunities, and possibilities to have an impact through the work you do.
