Accounting Specialist Role

The role of an accounting specialist plays a pivotal part in the financial infrastructure of an NDIS business. This position is a permanent full-time opportunity within a thriving and collaborative finance team, providing a great company culture and easy access to Central Station.

Key Responsibilities:

This challenging yet rewarding opportunity involves being responsible for:

- Full function accounts payable including processing high-volume invoices and credit notes;

- Supplier and bank account reconciliations;

- Full function accounts receivable including managing and updating the accounts receivable ledger, debt management, reconciliations and reporting;

- Payroll for approximately 60 employees;

- Ad hoc finance and accounting support as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- High attention to detail;

- Adaptive communication style to ensure open, professional and friendly manner to all levels within the organisation;

- Flexible work approach to meet varying demands of an ever-changing and high volume accounting environment;

- Positive and friendly work ethic;

- Intermediate experience with Excel and experience with XERO.
