Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

This is a senior technical role responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions to support enterprise-grade applications and services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing cloud solutions using AWS, as well as leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud security controls aligned with frameworks such as PSPF, ASD Cloud Security Blueprints, and ISM to safeguard cloud environments and sensitive data.
  • Developing and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline and automate deployment processes, ensuring consistent and efficient delivery across environments.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure to maintain high availability, optimal performance, and rapid issue resolution.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of engineers, focusing on task delegation, skill development, and guidance for junior team members.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience in implementing AWS solutions.
  • Leadership skills and experience in managing teams or technical leadership roles.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Vault, and Git repositories (GitLab, GitHub).
  • Experience in implementing Azure solutions.
