Philanthropy Director

YMCA Victoria is seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to lead our philanthropic efforts. As a Fundraising & Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of philanthropic giving, building a healthy donor and grant pipeline, and developing an effective fundraising strategy.
About the Opportunity
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will work closely with our Grants Manager and Partnerships Manager to ensure cross-functional collaboration and foster relationships with trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial support for our beneficiaries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, grants managers, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to promote our fundraising efforts and engage with our community.
- Ensure benevolent compliance across all entities and structures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in successful grant submissions and fundraising best practices.
- Strong project management abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Financial management skills, including experience with budgeting and financial projections.
- Experience working with donor and grant management software.
