Disability Support Worker Role

We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers. The role involves providing direct support to customers with diverse needs, including personal care assistance and community engagement.

About the Position

You will work in supported independent living accommodation settings, assisting customers with daily living tasks, such as personal care and domestic duties. Additionally, you will support customers to access community services and activities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and support to customers
  • Assist customers with daily living tasks, such as personal care and domestic duties
  • Support customers to access community services and activities
Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays
  • Resilience, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
