Westhaven provides client-centric, high quality programs and activities that provide whole of life support for people with disability, including offering houses that are homes, enabling choice and control and supporting participants to live life the way they choose.Mandatory RequirementsAs a Support Worker, you will have:Current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to driveValid First Aid & CPR CertificateA paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC)Willingness to provide consent to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR)To be considered to work in Children Services, you must meet one of the following requirements:Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and have relevant experience.Hold a Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Services, Individual Support or equivalentA day in the role of a Disability Support WorkerAs a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in offering essential care and support to people who may be facing various challenges.Work with individuals assisting with personal care and daily living skillsPlan and attend appointments and activities for social interaction and skill developmentComplete daily case notes, admin tasks, and incident reportsWe encourage diversity and inclusion â Westhaven is passionate about social justice and diversity and is committed to being an EEO employer.
