About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Coordinator to join our Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) team in our Blayney Factory. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality and efficient services to support the unit in identifying and assessing health risks and opportunities, and taking appropriate action.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the SHE Manager to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies and programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating health risks in the workplace.
- Develop and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Provide training and education to employees on health and safety best practices.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
