Job Summary:

The Independence and Wellbeing manager plays a vital role in the organisation's Clinical Services Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the values of the organisation through commitment to shared vision, mission and strategic goals.
  • Effective management and oversight of service provision.
  • Strong and inspired leadership that promotes excellence in clinical practice.
  • Facilitating advancement and innovation through ongoing professional development of staff.
  • Ensuring standards of professional practice are of the highest calibre, within scope and consistent in expression and outcome.

This role has responsibility for developing, providing and advancing healthy community programs and services under the direction of the Operational Director of Healthy Communities.

Programs must be sustainable and promote best practice, health promotion and social determinants of health while maximising consumer/client self-determination in healthcare outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
