This Exciting Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide care and support to clients with dementia and challenging behaviors. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, using your skills and experience to make a real difference in their lives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized care and support to clients in accordance with their individual needs and plans.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their primary caregivers, ensuring effective communication and trust.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and effectively, adhering to participant plans and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to organizational policies.

About You

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability or similar industry qualifications.
  • Experience supporting clients with dementia and challenging behaviors.
  • Personal care experience and confidence in building rapport with clients and key stakeholders.
  • A strong work ethic, positive outlook, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
