About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to operate and monitor the Coal Handling Prep Plant (CHPP) in a 7 on 7 off rotating day and night shift roster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various tasks including inspections, troubleshooting of production issues, machinery operation and cleaning activities to maintain housekeeping standards.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team as needed for breakdown maintenance repairs.
  • Identify and rectify hazards, damage and defects to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all incidents, breaches, near misses and hazards are reported promptly.
About You
  • Prior work experience in coal handling and processing or other minerals processing is highly desirable.
  • Previous authorisations/qualifications for CHPP RII Competencies are essential for this role.
  • A strong commitment to safe working practices and an improvement mindset is necessary to succeed in this position.
