About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grader Operator to join our Operations North department at MidCoast Council. As a Specialist Operator, you will be responsible for operating a range of plant machinery, including graders, rollers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, tractors, trucks, and water carts, to construct and maintain roads, bridges, and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a range of plant machinery to construct and maintain roads, bridges, and drainage systems
  • Undertake labouring duties as required
  • Work safely and efficiently to deliver high-quality outcomes for our community
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in plant operation and knowledge of road, bridge, and drainage construction and maintenance techniques
  • Ability to operate a range of plant machinery, including graders, rollers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, tractors, trucks, and water carts
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to working safely and delivering high-quality outcomes
What We Offer
