The Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team at Lumary. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for owning all administration and coordination across the employee journey. This will involve providing support to employees and managers on their HR-related queries and needs, working closely with the Employee Journey Team, and reporting to the Employee Journey Team Lead.

This role is perfect for a current HR Administrator with a few years of experience, looking for their next step to become a HR Coordinator, and on their career pathway towards HR Advisor. Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding

Manage all employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Employee Support

Respond to employee queries (including employee relations and grievances), ensuring quality and timely responsiveness, and productive outcomes or escalation as required.

HR System Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR system information and staff records.

Team Collaboration

Support the Employee Journey team and collaborate across teams to achieve Lumary's objectives and key results.

Ad-Hoc Recruitment and Learning Activities

Assist with ad-hoc recruitment and learning activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and e-learning content creation, etc.

Process Improvement

Optimise and continuous improvement of our people systems, procedures, policies, and processes of work.

Legislative Compliance

Stay updated on relevant legislation changes impacting the business and employees.

Organisational Initiatives

Support various organisational and cultural initiatives, including brand events, staff volunteering, and internal communications.

Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related qualification.

Experience

Prior experience working in a similar environment as a Generalist HR Administrator or Coordinator, and you're looking for your next career step.

Knowledge

A developing understanding of HR laws and regulations, such as Fair Work Act, health and safety acts and regulations, etc. You don't have to be an expert but knowing the basics and where to look for information is important.

Skills

Worked in a dynamic environment where you were required to be highly organised, manage conflicting priorities whilst meeting deadlines and stakeholder expectations.

Critical Thinking

Ability to think critically and creatively develop effective solutions to solve problems related to operational HR challenges, risks, etc.
