We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team, providing exceptional in-home care to elderly clients. This role is an excellent opportunity for those who want to make a meaningful impact within their local community.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred support that empowers clients to live independently and comfortably in their own homes. Your primary goal will be to enhance clients' quality of life through respectful and reliable care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, showering, grooming, and dressing while maintaining each client's dignity and comfort.
  • Deliver personalised care based on unique preferences, routines, and needs of each client.
  • Support with daily living activities both in-home and in the community including:
  • Meal preparation and basic household duties.
  • Personal hygiene and mobility assistance.
  • Transportation to medical appointments and social outings.
  • Companionship and social support.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Support Worker. You should also hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or an equivalent qualification). Additionally, you will require a driver's licence and vehicle, current car insurance and registration, national police check, first aid and CPR certification, and a Blue Card.

A strong interpersonal skill set is essential for this role, along with proficiency in personal care tasks and excellent time management abilities.
