Job Title: Senior Claims Operations Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced senior professional to lead our claims operations in Sydney. As a leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the assigned team and providing guidance on claims management, process improvement, and quality.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new ideas and concepts to support the development and delivery of our business strategy. This includes assisting with the implementation and maintenance of claims processes and procedures, as well as identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies and synergies.
In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with statutory and corporate service standards. You will also handle complaints and investigations of suspicious/fraudulent insurance claims, and provide technical expertise and mentoring to assist team development.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have leadership experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a natural ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders. You will also need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
You will also need capacity for self-reflection and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
