">Career Opportunity for Pathology Collectors
">We are currently seeking experienced Pathology Collectors to join our team at Dorevitch Pathology, a part of Healius Ltd. As a Pathology Collector, you will play a pivotal role in positively impacting the health of Australians by collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients.
">About the Role

- You will be responsible for collecting samples with care and attention, keeping meticulous records, delivering documentation within strict turnaround times, and preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing.">
- You will liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure smooth operations.">
- You must have a valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.">
- Holding a working with Children's Check or being willing to obtain one is also a requirement.">
- As an Australian citizen or permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or holding a valid visa with permission to work is essential.">
Salary and Benefits
">The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. ">Your Qualifications and Skills
">To succeed in this role, you will need demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background. Strong customer service and communication skills, along with a high level of empathy, are also essential. You should be organised, with strong time management and attention to detail, and able to work autonomously. If you don't have qualifications or experience in Phlebotomy but have a healthcare background, we will provide full training and mentoring to set you up for success.
">Vaccine Requirements
">Proof of vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is required for this role, as well as other vaccinations based on location may be required.
