Production Coordinator

This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to support the growth and development of a dynamic team in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake administrative tasks, providing essential support to tradespersons
  • Assist with ordering and sourcing repair parts, ensuring efficient workflows
  • Manage work orders and data entry within a Commonwealth-managed system
  • Compile inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies
  • Develop work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities
  • Promote collaborative innovation by identifying continuous improvement initiatives
  • Use Commonwealth-managed systems to track and expedite repair parts
  • Support planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
  • Administer supply chain accounts and conduct office administration
  • Distribute work tickets and materials to workers as required
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship with ability to obtain Defence security clearance
  • Australian driver's licence
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Workshop experience
  • Accurate spare part ordering and distribution capabilities
  • Competent in reading and interpreting orders

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
