Geospatial Operations Coordinator

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Geospatial Operations Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality geospatial services and products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage geospatial projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and effective delivery of results;
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on geospatial data collection, processing, and analysis methods;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups;
  • Contribute to the development of business cases, proposals, and other documentation to support the implementation of geospatial initiatives;
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the geospatial sector, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field such as geography, spatial science, or a related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a geospatial or related field, with a strong understanding of geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, and spatial analysis techniques;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop innovative solutions;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
