What You'll Do
Santos is seeking a Senior Spatial Data Systems Lead to champion the governance, performance, and innovation of our ArcGIS Enterprise spatial data systems.
This is a strategic, hands-on role for a geospatial expert who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about driving data integrity, system optimisation, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead spatial data governance across the enterprise.
- Architect and optimise spatial data systems for performance and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and support for spatial data strategy.
- Manage integrations, upgrades, licensing, and vendor relationships.
- Deliver data improvement outcomes through project leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience in geospatial administration
- Expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, Python scripting
- Strong knowledge of spatial architecture, databases, and ETL tools (e.g. FME)
- Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in project delivery and service management
Bonus Points For
- Oil & gas industry experience
- Familiarity with GIS-Pax Player, GPInfo, GeoCortex, GeoServer, Apollo Image Server
- Advanced programming skills
Qualifications
Tertiary education in GIS, Geospatial Science, Geomatics Engineering, Geography, or Surveying
Desired Certifications
- Esri ArcGIS Enterprise Administration Professional
- Esri Enterprise Geodata Management Professional
- Esri Web Application Developer Associate
- ITIL4 Foundation
