About the Role

The Social & Content Producer – Food is a key position in driving the success of the prestigious Women's Weekly brand. This role is pivotal to the evolution of the brand across various channels, requiring the ideation and creation of engaging social food videos and content.

Reporting directly to the Digital Managing Editor, this permanent full-time position will be instrumental in driving audience engagement for Women's Weekly's trusted and beloved food content across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ideate and execute on-brand social food videos and other captivating social and digital content for the AWW brand
  • Support the publishing schedule across social, digital platforms, and EDMs by collecting and creating assets
  • Collaborate with the DMEs, AWW Food Director, and social and search SMEs to develop and implement a social content strategy for food
  • Work with the food team to explore and execute new content opportunities, including recipes, collections, video stories, etc.
  • Utilize data and insights to inform content strategy and track growth across site and socials
  • Align with Are Media's values and strategy while supporting divisional goals, objectives, and KPIs

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience creating and editing food video content for social platforms
  • Proficiency in working with digital platforms/content management systems
  • A strong understanding of and passion for food and food media
  • Experience working with video editing tools like CANVA, Photoshop, Capcut, Splice, etc.
  • A willingness to adapt and learn new digital/social content creation skills
  • Solid communication skills and ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in understanding social audiences and pitching data-driven ideas
  • Ability to meet robust content quotas and deadlines
  • Flexibility to change and adapt to meet evolving business needs
  • Solid food preparation and cooking skills
  • Understanding of SEO best practices

Estimated Salary Range:$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. We are committed to providing competitive salaries that reflect market rates and your value to our organization.
